Some visitors to the club on Sunday

A good number of fantastic looking aerobatic machines..

And a ME108. The sign in the back says it was manufactured in 1944 in occupied France, rebuilt in 1984 using a 300hp IO540 Lycoming

Now you've done it!!! I'm feeling "homesick" for Ardmore again! Can't say anything about the VH-registered Pitts, but NUT, ZSO and EES... wow! They bring back memories of sitting on the aero club deck watching them go past at AR. Sob ;-)

The 108 also puts on a good show whenever it gets up.

You are so fortunate to have visitors like these from time to time.

Hahaha... Sorry dude!!

VH-PIG is the guy who was doing Alpha's test flying - he's moved here to retire - owned a big flight school at Bankstown for 20 odd years so he ain't short of cash I would imagine...

What a guy Noel is too. I could sit and listen to him yarn for days.

Were they there for a display or just visiting/passing through?

They were there last weekend as well, generating complaints from the public :-)
Something to do with the aerobatic club doing their (annual?) competitions

OK, that explains it. Cheers!
